Remarks: cash only
We have yum cha in Duen Kee many times before, mainly because it is the best of the two Chinese restaurants in Chuen Lung, in view of freshness, hygiene and taste. In fact, two restaurants nearly serve the same assortments of food, one is more attentive in all aspects, resulting that it always has more diners, even though the location of Duen Kee is a bit inferior.
All dishes are freshly steamed and cooked. We are comfortable to finish all the food, particularly we have ordered a dish of vegetable – watercress, which is grown in Tai Mo Shan. Hygiene is also better in Duen Kee. At least, we have not found any mould on steam-baskets. There must be reasons accounting for its continuous patronage in the morning and lunch time.
