Cha Siu Pie (front, roasted pork pie) and Spring Roll (back) are not different in appearance from those in other Chinese restaurants, but they are served in very high quality, very hot and not oily. Cha Siu pie is a signature dim sum in Golden Valley.

Though the shrimp in Shrimp Dumpling (Har Gau) is chilled, this shrimp dumpling has already attained the best quality available.

Steamed Pork Dumpling (Shao Mai)

BBQ Pork Bun (Cha Siu Bao) is good in appearance. All dim sums in the above are included in the Dim Sum Set ($98).

Soup of Pig lung & Almond Sauce is each $50 no matter whether it is ordered at lunchtime or dinnertime. It is pale yellow white color, rich in almond flavor and a bit creamy. It is a value for money soup and heavenly tasty .

Golden Valley (GV) is famous for its dim sum and food quality. GV is a Chinese restaurant with traditional Chinese settings. Tables and chairs are made from wood of dark brown color. Paintings and drawings are hanging on the wall. GV is not a restaurant with high ceilings, you have to prepare it would be a bit noisy if it is full.
We order dim sum set for 2 ($98) and 2 soup of Pig lung & Almond Sauce (杏汁豬肺湯), the bill is $240 (average per head $120). Dim sums are though commonly available in other Chinese restaurants, but they are prepared and cooked with the result that they are more delicious and better in quality. The soup is particularly in high quality and surely a must-try item, which is a bit different from that in Luk Yue Tea House, but they are both of outstanding quality. You are of course suggested to have a try in Golden Valley.
