Hainanese Chicken Rice is quite generous in portion. But it is a disappointing set. Maybe, expectation is a bit high beforehand.
From the skin colour, it is not a fresh chicken. For a chef with experience, it is not difficult to prepare chilled chicken with this quality. But a chilled chicken cannot be changed to a fresh chicken in texture and taste.
A large shrimp is on top of noodle. The taste is concentrated and authentic.
It is packed to be a higher end restaurant in Central.
Hainanese Chicken Rice and Laksa are its signature items.

For Singapore-Malaysian food in Central, low price must not be expected. Hainanese chicken rice set with Laksa noodle is ordered. It is priced at HK$140. If for the chicken rice set only, it is HK$100. But in Central, this pricing should still be reasonable.
Chicken is so so, as it is not expected fresh chicken would be used. The black soy sauce is alright. Taste of laksa is quite good and the soup is rather concentrated. The portion of laksa is ok. Anyway, the laksa is authentic. For a meal with both Hainanese chicken rice and laksa, this is very average. Without special reason, I guess I will not patronize again.
