The signature Curry Pork Chop w/ Rice is a must-order in Sun King Yuen.
There are two large pieces of pork chop. All pork chops are fried after receiving an order. No pork chop has been pre-fried before an order is received. Pork chop is of thickness a bit more than one centimetre. It is covered by batter. No meat tenderizer has been ordered. What they do is to loosen the meat texture by hammering. I really like its pork chop very much, mainly because the taste is well-balanced, there is no meat tenderizer, there is a nice flavour of pork (lean and lard) in the mouth, and the batter on the surface ensures that the meat texture is tender enough and there is a mouth-watering flavour of battered stuff.
At most there is one bowl of plain rice. If Japanese rice is adopted, it should be much better.
Together with one bowl of curry sauce and half piece of potato.
Frankly speaking, its curry sauce is not the type and taste I like. But it is not bad. If it can be changed to another taste and texture, it should be fantastic to me. Of course, this is not possible. Anyway, its super-quality pork chop is already strong enough to drive me to try regularly and continuously.
To reduce the guilty of eating two large pieces of battered pork chop, lemon and tea should be drunk.
If you cannot finish the above plate of pork chop with rice, you may order a takeaway of curry pork chop with rice. It is priced at HK$38 only, with one piece of pork chop, instead of two.

pork chop of Sun King Yuen again. In order to save time in queuing up, it is
better to visit earlier before the crowd at about one o’clock. As usual, curry
pork chop with rice and lemon tea are ordered.
I am so sorry that the pork
chop can still be prepared and cooked with the highest quality available. This
is why it is always full during lunchtime.
