Braised Yellow Eel w/ Garlic & Baby Bamboo

This brown colour sauce is a signature colour of Shanghai and Hangzhou Dishes. We like this delicious colour. 


Shanghai Crab w/ New Year Cake

There are two crabs underneath. 


Yellow Croaker Soup w/ Vegetable

It is a item we have not yet ordered before. The yellow croaker meal is fresh. One big bowl of soup can be divided into four small ones. 



Stinky Tofu is one of the famous Hangzhou stuffs.


Deep-Fried Green Onion Cake is definitely not oily on both surfaces. It would be better if there are more stuffed green onion. 


Pork Meat Ball in Soup should be ordered in advance. It takes time to prepare. 


We sense it is boiled with chicken broth. The meat ball is tender and nice in taste, and the taste is not concentrated. We can savour the original taste of Hangzhou dish.

It is a causal meal in Hong Zhou Restaurant again. We order many items this time, for the sake of savoring more dishes in one meal. They include Shanghai crab, fish soup, tofu, lion head in soup (pork meat ball) and yellow eel.

 

Without my disappointment, all dishes are nearly cooked with perfection, they are really excellent and authentic. This is why there are more and more diners to Hong Zhou Restaurant. We do have a delicious Hangzhou meal tonight.
