In my opinion, most restaurants in Taikoo Place are very average. But they charge the price of Central or Causeway Bay. There is no need to have very outstanding food quality, all restaurants and cafes will be full in lunchtime. The News Room is at a prime location in Taikoo Place, occupying three numbers in the street. In lunchtime, we may order either a la carte or sets, all are listed on the paper.
Basically we do not expect there are lunch meals of superior quality in Taikoo Place. Maybe, there are many but we do not know. We order two sandwich sets called Marilyn Monroe and Brando. The portion is generous, particularly the salad, it can be shared by two persons. One more point to mention is that waiters and waitresses seems to be tourists, some seems to know not much about the menu or English.
