A set of four pieces is ordered.
The presentation is very nice, it is like a masterpiece. Pan-fried dumplings are delicious too. It is very hot, be careful!
This is the soup of four pan-fried dumplings.
The chefs in the kitchen should mainly be locals now.

Cheung Hing Kee is said to be a supplier of Shanghai pan-fried dumplings from Shanghai. In the very beginning, the chefs should be from Shanghai. But at the time (about one year before), we have no motive to try. Today we do not know where to eat, and select to try dumplings here. Cheung Hing Kee is a very small restaurant (50% of the shop area is occupied by the kitchen), diners have to sit in a packed environment. If you are fat or too fat, you are recommended to buy take-away.
We only order the signature pan-fried dumplings. It takes a comparatively longer time before the dumplings are served. Each piece of dumpling is in good shape and four pieces are served on a plate (melamine). The dumpling is very alluring in shape, appearance and colour. Some sesame pieces can also be found on the surface, enhancing the flavor very much. The dumpling is very juicy while the soup is very hot, please be careful. The stuffed minced pork is not soft enough, this means there is still a gap from the top quality pan-fried dumpling served in some authentic Shanghai restaurants in Hong Kong.
My comment is that if the pan-fried dumping is not made by experienced Shanghai chefs, even though it is 100% the same in appearance, the overall quality cannot achieve the same level of authenticity. Anyway, at same pricing, it is not bad already.
