For a
lunch meal, this is already not bad. At least, it is much than than
those lunchbox with plain rice and a piece of pork chop only.
For a lunch set at less than thirty dollars in Sheung Wan, it is too reasonable and value for money.
Either one or two dishes can be selected for each lunch set. There are six different dishes daily.
The portion is not small. Bear in mind, soup and rice are in unlimited supply.
Plain rice can be refilled for any big mouth.
Today Soup is free of msg, for sure.

It
should be a good news for all office workers in Sheung Wan, though
Sheung Wan Canteen is not a new eatery. It is located in a commercial
building near MTR station and occupies the whole floor. Sixty patrons
could be entertained at the same time. It must be very crowded during
lunchtime. The canteen, without any decent decoration, is neat and tidy.
It seems that all staff should be female.
There are totally six
options in the menu every day. The menus for lunch and dinner are the
same. Patrons may select either one or two options, price is the same.
Dish portion is not small, it must be sufficient for an adult. For a
meal set of thirty dollars, we do not expect there are food materials of
high value. But they are cooked with heart, seasonings would not be too
concentrated. Msg has not been added to soup. But for dishes, very
small amount of msg should have been added. It should be one of the best
choices in Sheung Wan for meals in general and for lunch in particular,
in view of food quality and price.
