Marinated Combination is a bit salty. Taste is acceptable.

Pan-fried Minced Pork with String Bean & Olive is a bit salty as
well, mainly because the preserved olive leaves have been washed in
water for a short time only. Overall taste is not bad.

Soup of Fish Maw & Mushroom is natural, even though MSG has been
added, it should be in very small amount. One piece of fish maw and
black mushroom respectively is available.

There
are quite a lot of Chiu Chow restaurants in Kowloon City. We do not
want to be badly treated; Chong Fat Chiu Chow Restaurant is then
excluded. We have tried in Shun Kee Chiu Chow Restaurant and Nam Kee
Restaurant before. We decide to dine in Pan Chiu Hin (PCH) because of its elegant outlook, and its name
gives me an impression of delicacy. PCH is not a small restaurant in
Kowloon City.
In
the first trial, it is our habit to try the dinner set first. There are
dinner sets of $188, $328 and $488. Dishes are more or less the same;
the higher price set comes with shark fin thick soup and braised duck
feet in oyster sauce, instead of normal soup and a dish of green vegetable. We
order the set $188. The bill is $243 (average per head $124).
Service
is average. It is a comfortable dinner in PCH, as the restaurant is
only 50% full and there are not many diners even in dinnertime. Foods
are a bit oily, even though we have informed the waiter this point (less
oil) at the time of placing order. Because of this, no more chance would be
given to PCH again. Maybe, this is the reason why it is not full in
dinnertime.
