Pineapple Buns are freshly baked, and are lovely and mouth-watering in appearance.
Pineapple
Bun Stuffed with Butter Slice $5.5 is very very good in quality, gets
full mark and it attains the maximum amount of delicacy. It is nearly
flawless in shape. The bun is still hot and the topping is of course
very crispy. It is a must try in Kam Wah Cafe. When I see the bun in the
monitor now, I still cannot control my saliva.
Though Egg Tart
is claimed to be one of the signature items, it does not deserve in my
mind. It gets a recommended pass only. There is still a big gap from
that of Tai Cheong Bakery in Central.
Cold Milk Tea $11 is also very good in taste and not too sweet. Milk and tea flavors have not overwhelmed that of the other.

Cha
Chaan Teng is a typical restaurant species in Hong Kong, serving
western and Hong Kong style foods under the same roof. In Kam Wah, it is
already very popular and famous in Mongkok. Particularly during whole
day (lunchtime, teatime and dinnertime), the café is always full. When
tarts and breads are freshly baked, people will queue up in front of the
café. For visitors who want to try typical local Hong Kong food and
beverage, Kam Wah Café in Mongkok should be your first choice.
