Rice is not of good quality, mainly because of reducing cost. Therefore, a synergistic effect of chicken and rice cannot be attained.
Both chicken and kidney are very tasty and flavorful. It deserves to be the signature item of Jun Jun. Though the chicken pieces are wings and breast.
Lesser Galangal Ground Sauce (沙薑粉)
Milk tea is too thin, it is anyway not one of the signature items.

There are always hidden gems in the world. In North Point, it is heard that the Baked Chicken in Salt of Jun Jun is of high quality. I am so sorry this is the first time to have a chance to savor its signature chicken.
It is a typical Hong Kong style cha chaan teng and should have a history of more than thirty years. The interior design is very basic, some food items are written in white colour on red plastic board. It should be an eatery with a relatively long history, a typical smell of old eatery can be sensed. Of course, some persons may not know.
For the baked chicken in salt, it is cooked with the optimal amount of salt. The taste is well-balanced, not too light and not too salty. This must be the result of professional cooking skill. Chicken skin is in mouthwatering bright yellow colour. For the kidney, the taste is always alright. It has been cooked with heart too.
But for the hot milk tea, the texture is too thin or not concentrated enough. Tea flavor is at any rate not strong and decent enough. This implies that Jun Jun does not have synergistic effect in making tea with milk. It is at most passed.
For an eatery, if it has one signature item, it should be appreciated and rated with credit. Jun Jun should therefore be rate with credit.
