Cuttlefish in Soya Sauce 目魚紅燒肉$60. This is cuttlefish, but not cha siu
(BBQ pork). Cuttlefish texture is natural and not artificial. We
treasure we can try this dish in Hong Kong. Since there are cuttlefish
and soya sauce only, we cannot expect it is very very tasty. It is an original
Shanghai dish, and not commonly available in other Shanghai restaurants.
Sweet & Sour Spare Rib 糖醋小排 $48. The spare rib should be frozen
one, resulting that the meat texture is too dry. Color is a bit dark,
but the taste is alright.
Marinated Mixed Vegetables 十八鮮 $38
Pan Fried Chives Cake 韭菜煎餅 $25 is an item we do not expect too much.
It turns out to be very tasty, not too salty and not too oily.

Pork Bun 生煎包is not served on a hot metal pan this time (but it was in
our last visit). We are a bit disappointed. But the buns are still
tasty, there is hot soup inside the bun. Please be careful.

Remarks:
It has more than 20 years history in the mainland and has branches in Shanghai and Beijing .
This
is the second time we try in Lu Lu. It seems that everything remains
unchanged, including the not too many diners at dinnertime. We
intentionally order dishes not ordered before. We order 5 dishes only.
The bill is $230 (average per head $115 ).
The
dishes ordered are typical Shanghai cuisine, 3 of which have never been
ordered before. It is anyway a good experience to us. Besides, the menu
in Lu Lu is quite different from that in other Shanghai restaurants. If
you would like to try typical Shanghai food, Lu Lu is your choice.
