Grilled Chicken (half bird) has an alluring outlook and mouth-watering
smell. It has been seasoned with ginger and lemon grass. It is a
delectable grilled chicken and the meat is still juicy.

Grilled Fish should be one of the signature dishes in Taste Thai Restaurant and Pub.
The fish has been grilled in the optimum time, the meat is not dry.
The fish flavor would be further enhanced by dipping into the Thai
sauce.
Fried Vegetable in Thai Style is a bit too strong in taste but not oily.
Desserts are free.

We
notice there is a Thai restaurant on the first floor of this building
before (strictly speaking, it should be a Thai speakeasy) and decide to
have a try one day. Since Taste Thai (TT) is a restaurant in
residential building, there are not
too many diners at night. It also has no signboard on the ground floor.
TT is a speakeasy accommodating about 40 diners, tables are not packed
together. Certain sorts of privacy are available in TT, though it is a
Thai restaurant without splendid decoration .
We
order 3 dishes only, average spending is $90. Free desserts are served
at the end. For the grilled fish and grilled chicken, they should be two
of the signature dishes. Though it is the first time we dine in TT,
these two dishes are
in fact quite tasty, particularly the grilled chicken. Grilled fish and
grilled chicken are common in different restaurants, in TT these two
dishes are tasty in the sense that it is cooked and marinated in Thai
style. This is the original Thai taste we are looking for in Thai restaurant.
Taste
Thai is also quite close to MTR Wanchai station, it should be a
preference for those diners who do not want to walk for 'long' distance.
If you are at loss in Wanchai and do not know where to eat, you may
consider Taste Thai.
