record of what we experience and showing the fact in Guizhou.
In
the Mainland, no matter whether it is in big city, it is better not to
try those foods offered by hawkers in the street. Even though for a
simple breakfast, it is suggested to dine in hotel or eatery. Today
morning, for the sake of convenience, we select a hotel restaurant opposite to the Railway Station in Guiyang.
This
hotel should be a 3 Star Hotel in the Mainland. Of course, this 3 Star
is surely different from the rating in Hong Kong. The buffet breakfast
should be quite plentiful from the point of view of the locals. It must
be able to fill up
our stomachs. There are steamed dumplings, vegetables, congee, milk,
cakes, noodle, egg and more. If we hold an attitude of trying the local
buffet breakfast in a poor province (Guizhou) in China, it is in fact a
breakfast of not too bad quality. We must not compare this one with those in 5 Star hotels, which may cost about RMB100 per head.
