Green Papaya Salad is not too spicy, but is still tasty and refreshing. I prefer if it is more spicy.
Tom Yum is of high qualily, with a well balance of sweet, sour and
spicy flavors. Tom Yum is normally good in tasty, it is a must to order
in Thai cuisine.
The fish is not fresh (not 'not fresh enough'). No matter how good the cooking skill, it fails.
Crab is fresh, but the meat is too loose. Curry is not spicy enough. Look is much better than the taste.
'Pomelo Salad w/ Shrimps' is one of the best dishes in the meal. Pomelo flesh and the spicy sauce are perfect match. Fantastic!
Roasted Chicken is generally a tasty dish in Thai restaurants. This is not an exception here.
Fried Kale w/ Garlic Paste
Glutinouos Rice & Mango are quite palatable, but it should be shared.

Remarks: It is called ‘Sawali Club’ instead of ‘Sawadi Club’.
We
are led to dine in this Thai Speakeasy. It is a home-feel eatery and it
is really like a canteen more than a restaurant. We order chicken,
fish, crab, shrimp, vegetable, noodle, rice and dessert. The average
spending is $150, this is not a too reasonable price for a home-feel
restaurant. In other words, it should be quite expensive, if food
quality and taste are taken into account.
It
goes without saying that the food here is authentic Thai cuisine. Even
though it is cooked by native Thai, it is not a must that the Thai
dishes must be very delicious. This is why several friends have informed
before they do not want to dine at
home as their mom's cooking skills are quite horrible. The same rule
applies to all kinds of cuisine. I guess there should be several
signature dishes here, searching is needed in order to locate them.
Sawali Club is still a good place if outstanding food taste is not your main concern but you care more about the home-feel ambiance.
