'Braised Tofu in Spicy Sauce' is in a generous portion, to an extent that we nearly cannot finish it.

'Fried Rice in Yang Zhou Style' is in an exceptional large portion.
Taste is average only and the rice is not oil. Shrimp is of course not
fresh. It should be an appreciated fried rice.

Noodle in Soup

'Green Onion Pie' is in mouth-watering brownish orange colour.

'Steamed Dumpling Stuffed w/ Preserved Vegetable' is a dumpling that
we have never tried before. It is said to be a Hunan stuff. It is a
vegetarian dumpling as it is not stuffed with minced pork.

Remarks: -
We
really do not know which restaurant is better in New Century Plaza of
Mongkok East Station and finally have decided to have a try in China
Land Restaurant. It is quite a crowded restaurant on Sunday. It takes
about 20 minutes before a table is allotted to us.
We
do not order too much, as usual. The most impressive item is the dim
sum called 'Steamed dumpling stuffed with preserved vegetable'. Though
preserved vegetable is not a rare food ingredient in Chinese food, if it
is stuffed in a dumpling, it should be quite special to us. The dumpling is said to be a Hunan
cuisine. Since there is no minced meat inside the dumpling, it has the
taste of vegetarian dumpling.
Every thing is alright in China Land Restaurant, but not too
outstanding. We also do not have any disappointment. If we cannot decide
where to dine in Mongkok, we would visit China Land Restaurant again.
