'Steamed Garoupa' is included in a dinner set of $400, though it is a farmed fish. Unbelivable!
Steamed Shrimp w/ Garlic Paste
Roasted Duck
'Braised Spareribs in Zhenjiang Vinegar' is one of the signature
dishes. But I do not agree. It is only a normal dish, without surprise.
The color is too unrealistic.
Stirred-fried Vegetables
Chinese Soup is tasty and has no msg. Appreciated. For quite a lot of
Chinese restaurants, they prepare soup without msg as one of the selling
points for their restaurants.

There
is only one reason to dine in Hoi Po Seafood Restaurant, it is always
crowded during dinnertime and diners have to wait on the pavement. We
really want to know whether its foods are delicious, or it is still only
a local Chinese restaurant in Sai Wan Ho.
We
order a set meal for four and a sparerib additionally, average per head
is around $100. It is a normal spending for dine-out in local Chinese
restaurant. We are quite surprised as included in the meal set are
garoupa, shrimp and roasted duck .
The portion is not small, it is surely sufficient to us. Besides, sweet
soup (dessert), fruit platter and coupon for a box of mooncake are
included as well. We really cannot and should not expect more. If you
cannot think of any place to dine, you may select Hoi Po next time.
