Apart from eating mooncake and playing lanterns, there is an event in
Tai Hang in Mid-Autumn Festival. Fire Dragon Dance is a famous event
annually in Tai Hang.
Tai Hang Fire Dragon Dance has a history of about one hundred and fifty years.
Local and foreign visitors are attracted. Fire Dragon Dance is also widely promoted by the Hong Kong Tourist Association.
Mid Autumn Festival is a traditional and important Chinese Festival in the Chinese Calendar.
There are too many people on both
sides of the street. Most of them are either taking photos or videos.
After dancing for about one hour, old incense would be replaced by new
one, for the sake of continuing the performance of the second half.
It is also a greeting to the dwellers in Tai Hang.
