Sheng Yuan Vegetarian Tea House is quite roomy and distance among
tables is long enough. Even though you are full, it is a place for a
leisure afternoon and to laze around. Exact RMB 5 is needed for this
flower tea.
Soup with 'Ginseng' and other herbs.
Bitter Gourd is stuffed with vegetarian meat.
Vegetarian MSG has been added. Overall taste is still light and not
salty. The black mushroom has a strong nice flavour of mushroom.
Stir-fried Lily, Celery w/ deep-fried Cashew
All tablewares (except the chopsticks and spoon) are of the same style, with green upper surface and brown bottom.
Booth Seat on one side of the restaurant can overlook the street.

Sheng Yuan Vegetarian Tea House is not close to any subway station, it
is located in a hotel with bright outlook. Sheng Yuan is a vegetarian
restaurant and a tea house alike. It is surely a nice place for
afternoon tea with snack.
We order two dishes and soup only, as we are not too hungry. We do not
have a feeling that the dishes are very palatable, but we sense that
small amount of vegetarian msg should have been added, if any.
