Both
of us would like to try Red Bean Puree. Though there are many other
sweet soups in the menu, this is the only one we would like to try. The
sweet soup is not presented in a very good manner, as that in other
dessert shop. From its outlook, it is not particularly enticing.
We
cannot find any bean-like stuff and red bean skin in the soup. If not,
it is not called puree. It is very sandy and not too sweet. Together
with the nice flavor of old dried citrus peel, it is a very palatable dessert . It seems to be a common dessert soup in Hong Kong, its taste and quality is really different and much higher.

Wing
Wah is well-known for its wonton noodle. Apart from noodle, we do want
to try other items in the menu. We visit late at night and the shop is
still 50% full. We of course would like to try its dessert. We finally would like to order the same dessert – red bean puree.
It
is not in a presented manner and the soup color is a bit dark. But
there is a nice flavor of red bean and the soup is not too sweet. Most
important point is that the soup is very sandy, this is one of the
reasons we like red bean puree in Wing Wah. We can only say it is a high
quality Chinese sweet soup. Next time, apart from wonton noodle, please
also try its dessert if space in your stomach is still available.
