I
heard the name of Brother Chee (The boss and Chef of King of Dragon)
for a long time. In August, it is the time to eat 黃油蟹(yellow oil crab,
oily crab or yellow crab), we then try the yellow crab combo in King of Dragon. The combo is set at $688 per head (at
least 2 persons). If you order a yellow crab alone, it costs $388.
The
combo includes a yellow crab of 5 taels at least (steamed or fired with
Chrysanthemum), shark fin in chicken soup, 4-head fresh abalone in
oyster sauce, baked Canadian oyster with Port wine, seafood rice in
soup, and bird's nest in almond paste.
The
yellow crab is not small in size and should have more than 5 taels
each. When the upper part is taken away, the inner body is fully covered
with yellow fat. Maybe, the crabs are not of very good quality, the
taste of yellow fat is not really very tasty. Anyway, it greatly depends on your luck.
The shark fin in chicken soup is delicious. Apart from shark fin and
chicken meat, there are also conch and others. It is of similar taste as
other soups cooked in famous Chinese restaurants.
The 4-head abalone is of no problem for King of Dragon. It is easy for
them to master cooking time and skill. The fresh abalone is delicious.
Of course, it cannot be compared with dry abalone.
The
last one is bird's nest in almond paste. If we order separately and pay
by Bank of East Asia credit card, it is $128 per bowl. Apart from the
large amount of bird's nest, you can still feel the almond paste
granules in your month . This bird's nest in almond paste is the best item in the combo. It
does not mean that the others are not good, but this bird's nest is
really too outstanding.
Since King of Dragon's target customers are not the general public,
dinning tables are not placed with a short distance in between. Dinning
atmosphere is very good. Service is good. Or you may say they are too
good.
