The interior can get the highest rating attainable, for sure.
Caprice is the second restaurant in Hong Kong, with the honour of Michelin.
We are allotted to a table with a marvelous view of the Victoria Harbour and Tsim Sha Tsui.
High-quality breads are served with butter (with and without salt).
Mushroom appetizer is served at free. The mushroom soup on the right
has a pleasing strong flavour and is very impressive. The glass has a
height of about 10cm only.
Though it is free, the quality has not yet been sacrificed. The hot cake on the left is crispy and has shredded ham on the top.
White Truffle is promoting in October and November. We order fried egg (right) and risotto (left).
'Fried Egg in French Style w/ White Truffle' is served with plenty of
white truffle. This fried egg is not so outstanding as that in Sabatini.
'Risotto w/ White Truffle' is also topped with numerous white truffle.
The risotto is al dente, but it can be better in all aspects.
'Sole Meuniere' is similar to the one ordered and eaten by Julia in
the film 'Julie & Julia'. It is served in the classical way, to be
boned by the server.
Sole Meuniere is a fish from France. The meat can still be kept at
high quality (fresh, tender and rich in flavour), the meat is thick
enough and still very bouncy. It is slightly browned, the overall taste
is further enhanced.
Scallops are served with black roe on the top. Scallop and roe are perfect match. A pity is that there are four pieces only.
Complimentary Dessert is a bit too sweet, particularly those at the back.
Napoleon is ordered additionally. It is very crispy and one of the
best Napoleon cakes we try in Hong Kong. There is a small edible gold
foil on top of the ice-cream ball.

Basically there is no need to introduce how famous Caprice is. But we
are really delighted that it has just got the Michelin 3 Stars award. We
are allotted to a table next to the window, it is already a gift.
White
truffle is promoting in November, we also order for a try. Besides, we
order seafood dishes and dessert. Needless to say, this is surely a
sumptuous meal in a top class hotel restaurant. Its food quality and
service are also commensurately high, particularly the ambiance. Caprice is like a flawless diamond and is impeccable.
From December 2009 onwards, I am afraid the queue will be longer and
booking is a must. Even so, you are recommended to enjoy an impressive
meal (dinner) in Caprice.
