Tap
Mun is an island on the north eastern part of Hong Kong. The most
convenient way is to take a ferry from Wong Shek Pier in Sai Kung. At
Tap Mun, apart from seafood, natural slopes, bordering cliffs and
grassland, there are also Guan Yin Temple and Tin Hau Temple. It is a
nice one-day trip in Hong Kong territory. FYI, there are quite a lot of
big spiders and beautiful butterflies on the route to the hilltop.

The
day trip to Tap Mun (Grass Island) is not a difficult one, it is
suitable for all members and ages. There is no rock climbing and the
island is relatively flat in comparison to those islands visited before.

When we are still on board, we are attracted by the breath-taking view of blue sky and white cloud.

This was the last school (a primary school) on the island, but closed now.

On the upper part of the photo, it is Sharp Peak (Nam She Tsim 蚺蛇尖), which is the top of three sharp points in Hong Kong.

From
the high point, we can overlook the gentle slope, bordering cliff and
southern part of Tap Mun. We would later go to the rocky shore.

Their conversation explains what is happening.
P.S. It is funny to have taken this photo, it is therefore better to write something to enrich the content.

Can anyone explain the colour difference in the sea? Thanks in advance.

The opposite is Ko Lau Wan, a small fishing village.

Balance Rock (疊石) is a renowned spot in Tap Mun. It is a good place to climb and take photos.

This is taken from the other side of the Balance Rock.

From sea-level, the view is completely different. We spend quite a long time among the rocks.
