Baked Rice w/ Pork Chop is for sure the signature item in Maxim's Cafe.
It
is not too alluring in appearance. Rice has been slightly fried but not
oily, pork chop has cut into smaller pieces. The sauce is very
delicious. It has a synergistic effect. It scores 4/5.
Grilled Meals Miscellaneous is served with spaghetti and bbq sauce.
Chicken steak, pork chop, sausage, and bacon.
Onion
soup and Mushroom cream soup. I am not to say mushroom cream soup is
not delicious. But in your next upcoming visit, you are highly suggested
to order onion soup.
The table is large enough. If you have made reservation, a table for 4 is allotted to us.
It is available from Monday to Friday.

Remarks:
1) this is not Maxim's Fast Food Restaurant on the ground floor.
2) booking is suggested.
It
is easy to skip this restaurant at City Hall. It is in fact a roomy
restaurant, with well-spaced tables. Though it is in Central, Maxim’s
Café is not a high end restaurant. During dinnertime, particularly when
there is drama play or concert, it is better to book in advance.
We
order two dinner meal sets. There are many selections in the menu.
There must be one to please your taste bud. Food quality is of above
average and the portion is quite generous. Nonetheless, onion soup
should be tastier than other soups. To dine in Maxim’s Café is a leisure
and pleasing experience.
