Abalone
Puff w/ Diced Chicken, ordered individually, is not very hot when
served. This would alleviate its rating for sure and is therefore a very
average dim sum. The abalone is very small in size, not more than four
centimeters in length; its taste is not outstanding and it should be a canned item.
Garoupa Dumpling w/ Shark Fins is quite large in size and is quite nice.
Fried Ricesheet Roll w/ XO Sauce is very tasty and generous in portion. It is not oily and you are suggested to order.
Fried
Pork in Black Vinegar & Red Wine is a modified version of Fried
Pork in Sweet & Sour Sauce. The sauce of sweet and sour sauce has
been replaced by black vinegar and red wine. Additionally we can also
find pomelo, dried grape and sliced pear (at both ends). This is a nicely presented and successful fusion dish.
Fresh black pig pork is used in this dish. Initially, pork has been
cut into long stripe. In the middle is a small stick of fresh pineapple.
It is then rolled into the form of sausage.
Hot Chili Sauce w/ Sliced Pork Noodle is nicely served. If this
noodle in Wing Wah Noodle in Wanchai gets Grade A, this is Grade C only.
It is anyway not bad and the taste is anyway not authentic enough.
This is a stunning view of Tsim Sha Tsim East, Victoria Harbour and the skyline of Hong Kong Island.

Remarks:
1) reservation is a must.
2) It should have been in operation for less than fifteen days on the day of our patron.
3) For maximizing your return of dining, you are suggested to reserve a
(round) table for four or VIP room. For tables other than the
mentioned, second-grade view of the Victoria would be enjoyed.
4) Though tea is charged at twenty dollars per head, it is at any rate
of high quality. At the end of the meal, tea flavour is still very
strong. Maybe, waitress has added tea leaves to enhance flavour.
A
lot of Hong Kong citizens are waiting for the opening of restaurants in
Hotel Icon. It is not expected and it is in fact a bonus that there is a
stunning view of Tsim Sha Tsui East, the Victoria Harbour and Hong Kong
Island. Imho, thirty to forty percent of the bill goes to this stunning view.
We
have not ordered any meal sets, as we are afraid the portion is too
large and some items may not be our cups of tea. We only order a la
carte. Overall speaking, most items are of above average quality and
taste. But we have not experienced any outstanding one. To be a Chinese restaurant
with such impeccable view, attentive and not overdone service and
others, it should be a restaurant in your try list.
