It is too late to start our dinner, there are not too many food
materials left. We order three dishes only. We normally order Fried
Tomato w/ Egg, it is nutritive, easy to cook, and normally delicious.
Stir-fried Cucumber and Fried Pork are dishes commonly found in town
or village in the mainland. What we need and expect is to fill up our
stomach with cooked food. That is all.
Rice is cooked to perfection and white in colour. We appreciate to have such quality meal in Sichuan Daocheng.
Most diners are tourists. What they expect is a hygenic and hot meal
before sleep. In the vicinity, there are in fact not too many choices.

goes without saying that scenery of Dao Cheng is renowned, very
beautiful and picturesque. Before enjoying such top quality scenery, it
is needed to have long travel time and endure poorer conditions of all.
The best time to visit is autumn, in view of temperature and scenery. Of course, you may visit in winter, where the
temperature is extremely cold and scenery would be completely
different.
Regarding
dining in Dao Cheng, if we have a belief of not expecting too much, the
result would be much better. Even though if we are willing to pay more,
it is not a must that delicious dishes would be served and restaurants
of high quality would be available. For the meal in the above, it should be regarded
as acceptable. To be safe, to order more vegetable dishes would be wise.
Anyway, the main purpose is to have hot dishes and rice.
