Santiyala
Bakery should be the best bakery or cafe in He Yuan. From its
decoration and design, it is not like those operated locally. Later we
found that it is in fact owned and operated by a company in Hong Kong.
This Apple Vinegar is priced at RMB4 only.
Taste is good and similar to those from Taiwan.
Basically
we are not hungry. It is just for the sake of taking a break for thirty
minutes. Pricing is a bit lower than that in Hong Kong. Cake and bun
appearances are not bad, particularly the one in the front. Taste is a
bit lower than that in Hong Kong. But in He Yuan, it should be the best available choice.
A small corner is assigned for dine-in. Maybe, pricing is not low in
He Yuan or the locals have not yet accepted such bakery, there are not
too many patrons.
Pastry
chefs are mostly / mainly those of age less than thirty in my
observation. She is making a fruit birthday cake. It takes less than
fifteen minutes. Overall performance and quality is not impeccable, but
in He Yuan, it is already of very high standard.
I have a feeling that it is a modifcation of St. Honore Bakery in Hong
Kong. Its location is very near the hotel district and bus terminal.
Please pay attention to the logo, it is in traditional Chinese.

Remarks: this is a self-service bakery.
Its
outlook in purple colour is outstanding in Heyuan city. It is too
prominent when we stroll in the street. We therefore spend thirty
minutes in this nicely decorated bakery. Basically everything is quite
similar to that in Hong Kong. But the salesgirls are much younger , they should be about twenty only. This is the main difference.
We
select some cakes and drinks. Average spending is only RMB10. This is
reasonable as a drink is included. In view of taste, the cake is surely
not bad too. It is a bit lower in quality than that in St. Honore Bakery
in Hong
Kong. It is heartening that there is such a quality bakery in Heyuan.
Besides, it claims to be a bakery from Hong Kong. Of course, there is no
such brand name in Hong Kong. We do not know whether it is invested by Hong Kong capital, or it is invested by Mainland capital but registered in Hong Kong.
