Yue
Wang Shan (越王山) http://www.yuews.com/ is a scenic spot in Heyuan City
of Guangdong Province in PRC. The Chinese address of Yue Wang Shan is
廣東省河源市紫金縣古竹鎮. There is no direct transportation from Hong Kong or Shenzhen. Yue Wang Shan is
in fact adjacent to Yue Wang Shan Resort. Besides private driving, it is
needed to travel to Zijin Perfecture (紫金縣) first.
It is a nice resort in Heyuan. Rental of standard double room is about RMB200 per night.
It is not a very large resort, it does give us a comfortable and leisure feeling.

This
is the end of the hiking of about two hours in the afternoon. The hills
are not high, the highest point should be about 300M only. There are
not too many hikers during the whole route, mainly because Yue Wang Shan
is not conveniently located and
public transport is not available. Since the rocks are special in shape
and of Danxia Landform, it is still worthwhile to travel a long
distance and spend two hours in the hiking.
