Xing Long Street of Shaoguan
Shaoguan
(韶關) is a perfectual level city in Guangdong Province (廣東省) of the PRC.
It is a city of about three millions people. Shaoguan cannot compare
with Guangzhou (廣東) and Shenzhen (深圳), in terms of GDP per capita and
infrastructure. There is no big shopping mall in Shaoguan. For native
and speciality goods, they are mainly concentrated in a street called
Xing Long Street (興隆街) of Shaoguan. In other words, it is a street to buy edible
souvenirs, like tea leaf , dried seafood and snacks.
The portion of Xing Long Street seling native and speciality goods is not too long.
There is not much traffic in this street too.
Retail and Wholesale are welcome.
It is difficult to say whether goods sold in this street are not of
inferior quality. It solely depends on your judgment and decision.
They are not very busy.
Prices are clearly written.
Though
most merchandise can also be found in Hong Kong, it is a nice
experience to have a look, make comparison and stroll around. In order
not to be deliverymen and to be cheated, we have not bought anything.
