Mount Danxia
Mount Danxia (丹霞山) is a scenic spot near Shaoguan city, which is
located at the north of Guangdong province in China. It is a famous
UNESCO geopark of China. Its reddish stone and stones of different
special shape are the main attraction to tourists.
This bridge is to cross the main river of Mount Danxia.
It is like a lady lying on the hill. Her head is pointing to the right.

Yangyuan Stone
This is only one of the Yangyuan Stones. There are many pieces similiar stones in Mount Danxia.
There is a temple on the top. We have not reached the top.

Besides
travelling along the river, we have taken the cable car to view Mount
Danxia on hilltop level. It takes about five minutes in the whole
journey, but it takes more than twenty minutes to queue up. This is
anyway a small scale cable car system .
It should have been in operation for more than ten years. It gives a bit old feeling. But it is still safe generally.
To see the lady lying on the hill from a higher level.
Because of natural erosion in the course of time, there are many stones of different shapes.
