This is the last piece of dining record in the trip to Fujian .
Basically, Lin Gui (LG) is a home style restaurant, with no decoration.
It is one of the several restaurants in Taxia Village .
We
order totally six dishes and a soup. From the photos in the above, they
are all homemade Fujian cuisine. These dishes are also eaten daily by
the locals. Green vegetables are particularly fresh and are cropped in
the fields nearby. This time, we have
not ordered any chicken dishes, but dishes with pork and duck. All
dishes are not very delicious as no msg has been added, we can in fact
taste the original flavors they should have. The most delicious dish is
the 'Fried Taro', mainly because the taro is in very good quality. Before long, the whole plate of taro has disappeared.
It is a very valuable experience to visit this World Heritage Site –
Fujian Tulou and to try the country cuisine. It is a means to escape
temporarily from the shadow of finance tsunami.
