This is the lantern of Chinese decoration, with an energy saving light
bulb inside, at one side of Full Moon Restaurant, this should also be
the most representative part in the restaurant.

Soup
of vegetable with almonds, without msg, is served at free to us
suddenly and to each patron. After tasting a mouthful of soup, we
immediately finish the whole bowl . We select a lunch meal set for two,
including chicken, vegetable and fried rice, at eighty eight dollars only.

Half
Chicken is served with shredded ginger, shredded spring onion and
special soy sauce. The chicken is of course not fresh. For a meal set of
eighty eight, it is in our expectation that no fresh chicken would be
used. It is also not in our expectation that this is a palatable chicken dish.

Vegetable is in quite generous portion.

Fried
Rice in Yangzhou Style is also in bountiful portion. It is fried with
corn, diced cha siu, sliced vegetable, spring onion and shrimp. Shrimp
is not fresh but chilled. Each piece of rice is cooked and fried to
perfection. The rice is for
sure not oily. Notwithstanding Full Moon Restaurant is in San Po Kong,
this fried rice is comparable to those served in hotel restaurants with
star(s) in view of taste and overall quality. It is not a surprise to be
priced at one six eight in those hotel restaurants with star(s).

Average spending: $50
Date: January 2011
Website: -
Remarks:
1) cash only.
2) It is much higher in overall quality than that famous Chinese restaurant in San Po Kong.
3) Dim sums are available too. Claypot rice is also served in lunchtime, it is priced at less than thirty. This is too enticing.
We
visit this restaurant by accident today, mainly because its outlook is
quite pleasing, particularly in San Po Kong district. It is in fact not a
large Chinese restaurant, I guess it can accommodate more than fifty
patrons at the same time, including a small VIP room.
We
do not have much time and cannot order too much. We order one lunch
meal set at eighty eight only, including half chicken, vegetable and
fried rice. A soup of vegetable with almonds, without msg, is served at
free to each patron. For the chicken, it is delicious, mainly because of the special soy
sauce and shredded ginger. We of course would not expect the chicken
should be fresh. But its cooking skill and sauce have already maximized
the utility of enjoying this chicken dish.
Fried
rice is of very professional standard. Each piece of rice is cooked and
fried to perfection and no surplus oil has been used. If it is ordered
in Central or hotel restaurants with star(s), in my experience it would
be priced at one six eight or so. It is anyhow a good selection today and we are lucky
to have tried such delectable meal at very reasonable price in Full Moon
Restaurant. We must arrange a dinner here one day.
