Roasted Duck (standard size)
It
is quite mouth-watering in outlook. But it is not very good in taste,
it is at most average, in view of meat texture and cooking skill. The
duck should have been hung for a period, it is neither hot nor warm. This would alleviate the overall quality definitely.
Roasted Pork is the signature item of Kam Kee. It is therefore a must to order.
We
order it with rice. Pork is fresh and not frozen. Skin is cripsy and
meat texture is good. It is priced much higher than those frozen ones.
This plate of roasted pork (roasted brisket) with rice is priced at
about fifty. Roasted pork is still the item ordered by each table.

Kam
Kee should be the number one roasted pork specialist in Yuen Long. It
is always crowded and customers are waiting outside for dine-in and
take-away. Just from its appearance, we do not notice it is in fact very
renowned for its roasted pork.
We
are lucky to have allotted to an empty table and there is no need to
share with other diners. It is the first time for us to visit, we must
therefore order roasted pork. We also order roasted duck, soup and
vegetable. Frankly speaking ,
roasted pork is of very high quality and must be the signature item.
Others are only average, this is revealed by the pricing in its menu.
Price of roasted pork is nearly two times higher. Roasted goose is out
of stock at the time of our visit. After this meal, the strategy is to order roasted pork only in our next patron.
