Corned Beef Sandwich is alluring in colour.
The sandwich is not special and the taste is average, since it is made from corned feef. Anyway, the colour is very appetizing.
Ham and Fried Eggs
Frankly speaking, for a local cha chaan teng and in Tai O, Keung Kee
has done its job with passing marks. Please note the stone pattern of
table surface.
Toast with butter is nicely prepared. It is a bit elegant to eat with a fork.
We seldom order soft drinks. But in oldie cha chaan teng, they are our best choices.
There are not too many options in the menu. All can be found on a piece of A4 menu.
These (table and bench) are the evidence of history, so are wall tiles and floor tiles.
We cannot find any trace of modernity in Keung Kee. This is what we are looking for.
The signage is impressive.

We
are attracted by its old-fashioned outlook, we would like to have a
simple meal in such an oldness. In the café, traces of oldness can be
found in table and bench, wall tile, display on table and food variety.
These are what we would like to experience. A pity is that Keung Kee is not old
enough in our mind. If it can be 20 to 30 years older, it would be
fantastic.
No
rice is served for the whole day. What they served are mostly simple
food stuffs. Frankly speaking, foods are only average and not
outstanding at all, and we cannot expect very outstanding food taste for
such simple food stuffs. We therefore only order several items and drinks only. Keung Kee is therefore a gas station today.
