Porterhouse Sirloin is large in portion, of thickness
about one inch, served with red wine and barbecue sauces. This portion
is for two persons.
Medium well is requested. Except salt, no
extra seasonings are added. The thick sliced meat is in romantic reddish
pink colour. Before it is put into the mouth, the visual effect is
already very alluring. We can savour the original and concentrated
flavour of beef, which is also tender enough, juicy, and surely not
tough.
Bread is baked with herb & garlic paste. It is freshly baked and of course very delicious. You may request to refill.
Caesar Salad is served with salted fish and ham. Lettuce is very crunchy and fresh.
Mediterranean
Red Prawn, nicely presented with alluring orange red colour, is
slightly cooked with salt and herbs. Totally there are five pieces and
prawn size is very large.
Meat texture is tender and bouncy
naturally, and nearly similar to the texture of fresh prawn. We like
seafood to be cooked in such a way, rather than to cook with cheese or
concentrated sauce.
Iberico Pork Chopis relatively small in size,
to compare with that of sirloin. Of course, there is a big price
difference. We also request medium well. If it is not Iberico, we must
order well done. Though this portion is said to be for one person, in my
experience, it is better to be shared.
It is very juicy and not tough. We can taste the very nice flavour of pork. It is grilled with sophisticated skill too.
Washington Apple Crumble is served with ice-cream and in generous portion.
Apple
is cooked with high quality and not too sweet. Apple is still chewy. It
is definitely of higher standard than the same in quite a lot of
restaurants.
Rum Baba, served with flame (not shown in the photo)
and cream, should be the signature dessert of Steakhouse. Yeast cakes
are mixed with syrup and rum. If you are not lover of wine or rum, you
should not order this dessert.

It
is informed that Grand Hyatt Steakhouse serves the best steak in town,
we would therefore like to know whether it is so. After making
reservation, we are waiting for this day to come. We are allotted to
booth table, basic privacy of dining is offered. Servers are mainly male
young guys, they are also good-looking and professional.
We
would definitely order its signature porterhouse sirloin, together with
pork chop and prawns. Portions are quite generous. But in view of price,
it is of course not. We deeply believe the best quality food materials
are selected and offered in Steakhouse. No extra seasonings are added to
foods, we can taste the original nice and natural flavor of food
materials. We are pleased to have a nice meal of quality steak in Grand
Hyatt Steakhouse. The ambience is really nice and comfy.
