Pan-fried Egg w/ Long Bean has not been over-fried. It
is slightly brown on both sides. Red-colored vegetarian minced meat can
be found. It is a delicious vegetarian home-made dish. FYI, chicken
powder is added.
Vegetarian Cha Siu (Vegetarian BBQ Pork) is the
top signature item, it must be ordered every time and is the motive for
our visit.
It is 90% similar to real Cha Siu in appearance and
taste. There is delectable cha siu sauce at the bottom and wine has been
added to enhance the flavour.
Plain rice
No msg has been added to Today Soup (Soup of black eye bean, peanut, and others). The taste is therefore natural and plain.
Today
Dessert (Dessert of red date, pearl barley and others) is only slightly
sweet. Rice, soup and dessert are in unlimited supply.

In
Wanchai, Fat Yau Yuen should be a quality home-feel vegetarian eatery.
Meal sets are always served with soup, rice, main dish and dessert. A la
carte can also be ordered. Food portion must be sufficient for all
kinds of appetite. Food taste can still be maintained at high level. But
we have to say that though no msg is claimed to have added, chicken
powder should have been added to enhance food taste.
