Taiwanese Snack Platter should be a good selection to
try most snacks in a Taiwanese restaurant. On the day of our patron, it
is promoted at special price.
Besides marinated tofu, there are also taro cake, rice and fried stuff.
Pork
Knuckle in Taiwanese Style is relatively generous in portion, the sauce
is not very sticky. It is still better to be shared by more persons.
Taste is well-balanced and texture is soft enough. It is a bit different
from those Cantonese flavour.
Soup of Spareribs, Pig Stomach and
Chinese Yam is like a Cantonese soup, it is not spicy. The taste is
mild and it is for strengthening the body.
Soup of White Fungus & Papaya. Both items are nutritive. it is needed to replenish nutrients in our daily dining.
Sweet
Black Glutinuous Rice w/ Coconut milk. FYI, black glutinuous rice is
rich in vitamins and minerals. It is particularly good for the spleen.

Yau Plaza is a building we pass by regularly, but we do not notice
there is a Taiwanese restaurant. It should be a new name operated by a
dining group in Hong Kong . We originally are not prepared to dine here,
but finally we would like to give it a try. We do not have any
expectation on this Taiwanese restaurant, we only want to have a meal in
this new restaurant.
We order three items and desserts, average
spending is about one hundred. This is the second meal tonight, in fact.
Out of expectation, we are quite contented with all three dishes, but
desserts are a bit inferior comparatively. The Taiwanese snack platter,
with four different items, is promoted at special price for the whole
day. This is a delicious small platter and you are suggested to order.
Soup taste is clear enough and no extra msg is added. This is another
surprise to us. We prefer this clear soup to that extremely tasty soup.
