Soup of Green Bean, Mint Herb & Gream is an a la
carte. It is a concentrated bean soup. Two slices of bread is served at
free for each meal.
Cannelloni is filled with spinach. It is a nice and light taste pasta. The dish is served with three pieces.
Lasagna
is filled with minced pork. It looks small in size but it is sufficient
for an adult. The taste is stronger than that in the above Cannelloni.
Mango Juice & Camomila Tea
Tartufo
Chocolate from Binda of Ital looks like a chocolate cake at room
temperature. It is in fact very cold. It is also available for take
away.
It is definitely a delicious gelato. It is stored in the refrigerator on the ground floor.
Torta Delia Nona is relatively large in size. It is in short a lemon cake. It is better to be shared.

This
il Bel Paese should be the flag-ship shop. It is conveniently located
at Hennessy Road . We are pleased to have such authentic Italian
restaurant and grocery in Hong Kong . On the second floor, it is the
area of a small restaurant. After meal, diners can select Italian canned
foods, pasta, drinks, cheese and gelato in the shop.
We order
two pastas, soup and drinks. Including 10% service charge, average
spending is about one fifty. To compare with other Italian eateries,
pricing in il Bel Paese is quite reasonable and I do not query its
authenticity. Of course, it does have a gap between the food standard
and price in il Bel Paese and that of prestigious Italian restaurants,
like Scala and Sabatini. There are still a lot to be explored in il Bel
Paese.
