This should be curry beef, beef flavour is quite strong.
Pork and beef
Pork is cooked with green bell pepper, this is the cooking method in Asia.
Plain rice with roasted pork and chicken. More plain rice can be requested.
Roasted
pork is similar in appearance to those local roasted pork in Hong Kong.
But the taste is of course different. I am so sorry I like Hong Kong
roasted pork more.
Chicken is cooked with Filipino sauce, herbs, carrot and green bell pepper.
Apart from the kitchen, this is the most prominent part in the restaurant.

This
is one of several Filipino restaurants in Hong Kong. Since it is
located in Wan Chai, it should be the most popular one. At lunchtime, it
is nearly full. But please do not expect there is comfortable dining
environment, it is anyway a small eatery. About 50% diners are
Filipinos.
At lunchtime, most sets are priced at less than thirty
dollars. Each set is served with plain rice and two different dishes
(out of about ten selections). This set does not include any drink.
After selecting the dishes, the whole plate of your food will be
microwaved for a while. It then becomes a plate of hot plain rice with
two Filipino dishes.
To be frank, Filipino food is not my cup of
tea, but it does not mean that I would not have a try. The Philippines
is in fact a country I like. In terms of taste, Filipino food is not
very delicious. This is of course mainly due to our own habit and
preference. In Wan Chai, at lunchtime, average spending in cha chaan
teng is normally about fifty. This spending of thirty dollars in a
Filipino eatery should be very reasonable and economical.
