
Black Pork Chop is priced at about twenty hundred, we
therefore would like to know how delicious it is. There is one piece of
pork chop only, which is relatively large and thick.

It should be
40% thicker than normal. Meat texture is good and not tough. It is
served with fruit sauce on the top. A pity is that we do not sense and
savor any nice flavour of pork. This is not bad if it is priced at one
hundred. But it is priced at about twenty hundred now, it is a
disappointed dish.

Grilled potato and tomato

Salad with
Mozarolla Cheese, Tomato and Rocket, is served with black vinegar sauce.
This is a quality salad. Portion is not generous in view of price.

Linguine w/ Large Prawn and Roe in Crab Sauce.
When
it is served, we sense and smell that the prawn is not fresh but a
frozen one. It is proved to be true when it is put into mouth, its
colour tells us the same conclusion. But the linguine is definitely very
delectable. It has absorbed the concentrated flavour of crab sauce.
This sauce should be appraised, it enhances the quality of linguine a
lot. Since there is no impeccable and outstanding dish so far, we decide
not to order its dessert.

Focaccia is of high standard. It is slightly crispy on the top surface. Surplus black vinegar and olive oil are served.

Remarks: booking is a must.
We
know this famous restaurant for a long time, in the sense that it is
always full and booking in advance of three months may be needed. Mainly
because of this, we would like to have a try.
We later notice
that the restaurant is in fact very small in size and maybe this is the
main reason for its long booking period. In my experience, the café is
too packed and not comfortable. Nice dinning atmosphere must not be able
to serve. But for the menu, it gives me an impression that it should
not be a small restaurant and pricing is not low too.
Frankly
speaking, all dishes are prepared and cooked with heart, but have not
been cooked with impeccable level. They also do not deserve to make
reservation of one to three months. This should be a critical mass
effect which is very common in Hong Kong. But if its food quality is
very high these years, what we are served tonight is only an accident,
we are very unlucky indeed. To conclude, dishes are of above average,
but it must not be value for money, or simply it is overpriced, or
somebodies are social climbers.
