There are yellow ginger, onion, red pepper, shallot,
lemon grass and ... . It is a delicious Thai salad that we have not
tried before.
Clam Salad
It looks like a non-vegetarian dish. It is in fact a salad.
Grilled Honey Sparerib
There
are totally four pieces, which are freshly grilled, hot and delectable.
Meat texture is not tough. But it seems that the Thai flavour is not
strong enough. In addition, in our experiment, we learnt that meat
tenderizer has been added. For red meat with meat tenderizer, mark
deduction is a must.
Laksa Seafood Vermicelle is very authentic,
in the sense that there is a nice and refreshing soup of shrimp, it is
spicy enough and nearly flawless. We are delighted to have ordered this
laksa by accident. To try quality laksa, there is no need / it is not a
must to visit laksa noodle specialty shop, it is also available in Sun
Thai.
Half boiled egg, cuttlefish, shrimp, bean sprout, vegetable and ... .
Grilled Fish w/ Curry Sauce
Curry flavour is concentrated and not watery. In fact, all dishes in this meal have strong flavour.
Yes, the red sauce is curry but not tomato sauce. This is a lovely Thai grilled fish.
Glutinous
Rice w/ Mango is also a yummy dessert. The portion is not too large. It
is puzzling that there is glutinous rice in dessert. It is a bit heavy.
Glutinous rice should be cooked by two more minutes, it is a bit hard
comparatively.

This
is the second attempt in Sun Thai. We specifically order items which
had not been ordered last time. In fact, all five dishes have not been
ordered before. This is a meal of strong flavor. It is needed to do so
in order to savor the best Thai flavor. Salad, grilled fish and laksa
are all of outstanding quality. Particularly for the laksa, we would
like the portion to be a bit larder. The grilled sparerib is good too,
but it has been tested meat tenderizer has been added. Mark must be
deducted, though this may not be detected by most diners.
Servers
are professional and amiable. This may be the character of Thai, in my
experience. It is a delectable and authentic Thai meal, we will be back.
