Yellow Eel in Ningbo Style (炒黃鱔絲)
Again, fresh fish meat from Hangzhou is used, resulting that the meat texture is not too tender and horrible. It is fried with baby bamboo, shallot and onion. This is well-balanced and delectable (though it is a bit oily).

Smoked Fish (燻魚) is relatively dark in colour. Meat texture is firm enough and not too tender. It is an appetizer in this Hangzhou meal.

Steamed Yellow Croackers w/ Potherd Mustard (雪菜蒸黃魚)
This is in fact a Hang Zhou Fish Meal. We order three dishes of fish, one pan-fried dumplings and one vegetable.
Yellow croacker is quite large in size. Potherd mustard is not too salty. It can cover the taste of fishiness, if any. There is no need to add oil and soy sauce, as there is already a synergistic effect between fish and potherd mustard.

This is not fresh seafood. We are pleased and eager to try fish in different cooking styles.

Meat texture is firm enough and not loosened. Fish meat is not bony.

Pan-fried Pork Dumpling (生煎包)
There are four pieces on a large plate. I guess originally there should be six pieces. Tastewise, it is heavenly tasty.

Vegetable w/ Baby Bamboo (萬年青) is a typical dish in Hangzhou area.
Vegetable is in fact a dried one. After returning to water, it becomes a green vegetable again. It is mixed with baby bamboo pieces and sasame oil.

It is a restaurant of medium to small size, with modern Chinese decoration.

We are pleased to try again in Hang Zhou Restaurant tonight. After getting one star in Michelin, there are more and more patrons. Booking is highly suggested. After scanning the menu, we have a strange idea of making a fish meal. Except the pan-fried minced pork dumpling and vegetable, all are fish.

We would like to try fish cooked and prepared in different styles. The result turns out that our decision is wise and right. We can try different flavors of fish in a meal, like smoked, steamed and fried. It is fun to play in dish ordering. Ultimately we can still enjoy delicacies in Hang Zhou cuisine. Cheers!
