Salad w/ Tuna is nicely presented. The tuna cubes are very good in taste and texture. The stuff on the top is potato.
There
are about five options in the menu, but we both would like to order
seafood risotto. Texture is al dente, there are quite a lot of seafood
in this rice, like mussel, shrimp and cuttlefish. Overall taste is good
and authentic. A pity is that the shrimp is small in size and not fresh.
I prefer if the food material is not fresh, it is better to skip it.
This is a black spot in the meal.
The sauce is palatable and pleasing.
Carrot soup is creamy and nicely prepared.
Coffee
is a must to order for coffeeholics, particularly it is served with
lunch set. Tubino is a strong flavored coffee, there is a nice
after-taste. It is from Italy and was established since 1932.
Chocolate mousse cake is good in appearance and flavour. It is the end of a satisfactory meal.

After
reading the record of hkfoodie, we would like to have a try in Amore. I
expect the restaurant should be quite large. But the fact is not so, it
is only a misunderstanding. The restaurant is also a bit packed, it is
not like other authentic Italian restaurant, like Sabatini. Anyway, this
is a restaurant in Causeway Bay.
There are about five options in
the lunch menu. We both order risotto. All items in the set are of
above average quality, the main dish is not bad too, except that the
baby shrimp (not in the photo) is small in size and not fresh. It is
better to be skipped in the rice. If there is no baby shrimp in the
rice, I really do not know. But if not fresh baby shrimps are cooked
with rice, it becomes a black spot. We understand this is one of the
results in Hong Kong, under the problems of high inflation and rental.
