Shark's Fin Soup is not too thin and has above average quality.
Shark's
Fin City Restaurant is a forte in cooking shark's fin, abalone, and sea
cucumber. This "Braised Sea Cucumber and Mushroom" is of course not an
exception. The portion of sea cucumber is not small.
Abalone Tart is a bit oily and salty. I can only find a very small piece of chopped abalone in this tart.
Xiao
Long Bao (Steamed Pork Dumpling) is well-balanced in taste though the
appearance is not too attractive. The dumpling is juicy and the meat is
not too hard.
Shrimp Dumpling is very hot when served, and does not have much difference from the normal shrimp dumpling.
Rice
Noodle in Fish Soup has very small amount of msg (if any) and has been
divided into two bowls (this is my bowl). I like this noodle and fish
soup.
Egg Tart with Bird's Nest is still warm when served.

Shark's
Fin City (SFC), established in 2000, is a comparatively higher-grade
restaurant. It seems that the general public is not its target diners.
SFC in CWB is not a very big Chinese restaurant. Tables are aligned with
comfortable distance in between. There are also several bench tables.
Servers are of above average manner, but extra hospitability should not
be expected.
We order the lunch set for 2, the price is $158 per
person. The bill is $369 (average per head $185). In view of the food
variety (including a green vegetable but with no photo) and portion,
this price is value for money. Just for the shark's fin and sea
cucumber, the quality is absolutely good. If you want to have a Chinese
lunch other than only dim sum, you may try in SFC in lunchtime.
