Pork Rice Sheet Roll. Because of pandan leaf, it has a distinctive Vietnamese flavour.
'Roasted
Duck with Orange Sauce' is alluring in outlook. Its meat is juicy, the
skin is still a bit crispy. It is our new trial in Vietnamese dishes.
Grilled
Prawn w/ Lemongrass is a typical cooking method of such fresh prawn.
The meat is bouncy, juicy and is a perfect match with lemongrass. I
found no reason not to recommend this dish to you.
'Grilled Pork
Chop w/ Lemongrass' is a famous and quite common dish in Vietnamese
cuisine. We would like to try such dish and see how it is cooked in Le
Soleil and how it is different from other Vietnamese restaurants. The
meat texture is not so tender, taste of lemongrass is not so strong. The
waiter informs us that no meat tenderizer has been added. But our
physical flesh tells us that we cannot believe with one hundred percent
certainty.
Fresh Beef & Tendon w/ Rice Vermicelli in Soup is a
must to order. This is a regular size only. It is delicious and the
soup is rich in beef flavour. Additionally, there are two pieces of beef
ball. It is a bit more delicious than those served in other Vietnamese
restaurants. Fyi, it is not easy to get ten more marks from eighty.
'Claypot
Rice w/ Spicy Minced Pork & Mushroom' is the lowest price in the
rice list. We do not want to try seafood with rice, we do not want to
eat shrimp and cuttlefish again. Out of expectation (but not a
surprise), it is the best dish in the meal, this is not to mention that
others are not delectable. But this claypot is in fact outstanding. It
is slightly spicy. To me, it would be much better if it is spicier. Each
piece of rice is cooked to perfection. Together with the minced pork
sauce, it is a must to order in your next visit to Le Soleil and hope
the quality can still be maintained at such high level.
Coconut Layer Cake is served in high quality too. It is not like plasticine but chewy and rich in nice coconut flavour.
Vietnamese
Coffee should be ordered too, no matter whether you are coffee-holic.
To me, Vietnamese coffee is different from those other coffee, it has
its own character. We appreciate it is served in such a manner, the
manner of Vietnamese coffee.
Another reason for being rated as
one of Michelin restaurants is for sure its ambiance. Servers are nice
and helpful, but not too professional. For female blogmates, I am sorry
that there is no handsome waiter here. There is also superhigh ceiling.
It is a very comfortable environment, we are pleased to have a leisure
palatable meal of Vietnamese cuisine.

There
is no need to mention how great the restaurants in Royal Garden Hotel
are. They all are famous for its high quality food and ambiance. We have
decided to dine in Le Soleil two days before and are lucky that a table
with good location is arranged to us. In fact, we do not try Vietnamese
cuisines frequently. You know this well.
Foods in Le Soleil are
authentic and mostly delicious or above average. Some are even of higher
standard than we expect. Food materials are of better quality and fresh
enough. Pricing is not so pricey as expected. We found no reason not to
recommend Le Soleil to you.
