Baby Clams does not have any trace of fishiness. It is a typical Chiu Chow dish.
Apart from the breast slices, other parts are served on the bottom. The taste is good and well-balanced, there is nice and slight smoked flavour too. It is better to serve as appetizer or eat with beer.

Fried Bitter Gourd w/ Spareribs in Preserved Blackbean Sauce is a homefeel dish. Bitter gourd slices have not been overcooked.
Soup of Pig Lung & Black Pepper is not too spicy. The green yellow stuffs are preserved vegetable.

It is well-known that Tak Lee Chiu Chow Restaurant serves authentic Chiu Chow cuisine. Today we have a chance to give it a try. It is neither too small nor too big. It is quite a home-feel local Chinese restaurant. It gives us a first impression that pricing should also be reasonable. Even though it is located in Sai Wan, there are still quite a lot of patrons during dinnertime.
We mainly order those Chiu Chow dishes, totally four items only. We have not ordered any deep-fried items. This meal is therefore like a home-feel dinner. There is no outstanding and disappointed item. The restaurant is full at night, but it is not too noisy. All patrons would behave themselves in the volume of their conversation. We would visit again if time allows.
