Fried Spareribs in Secret Sauce is one of the signature dishes and should be ordered by each table. It is mouth-watering in appearance. This is not equivalent to 'Spareribs in Sweet and Sour Source'.
Definitely, it deserves to be the signature item. It is freshly fried and there is no surplus sauce on each piece of spareribs. It is rich in garlic flavour and the batter is not too thick. This dish is flawless and should be must-order item.
Deep-fried Tofu is another signature dish, it is also nearly ordered by each table. It is very hot and suggested to drink Chinese herbal tea thereafter. It is a bit crispy on surface and the inside is still tender and not dry.
Clams in Soup. Black pepper is added, the soup is therefore a bit spicy. It is different in taste from the same dish in other restaurants. To be frank, the clams are a bit small in size.
Fried Noodle is served with chili sauce. It is a must to eat with the chili sauce together in order to have the synergistic effect. The taste is well-balanced. This is highly recommended too.
There is no surplus oil on the bottom of plate. Their sophisticatic cooking skill is appreciated.
Fried Egg White w/ Milk & Bitter Gourd is the only light-flavored dish in the meal.
Soup of Conch & Pork is one of the soups in the menu. The taste is good, it is much better than those standard today soup.

We seldom dine in Shau Kei Wan, mainly because we are not too accustomed to this district and there are not too many outstanding eateries in my memory. We only know that it is always crowded and booking is a must. It is a typical eatery in Hong Kong , particularly in view of the fact that it is very packed and noisy. It is a place for dinner at very reasonable price, but not a place for chatting.
We order five dishes and a soup, average spending is about one hundred and twenty. This should be very reasonable amount in terms of variety and quality. Particularly for deep-fried tofu, fried noodle, spareribs in secret sauce, they are cooked to nearly perfection. They are all very delicious. We do appreciate that they have not added any meat tenderizer to the spareribs.
In Yuet Wah Club, there is no need to wait time in selecting dishes from the menu. What you need to do is to check which dishes are mostly ordered by patrons on the next tables. On the one hand, there are mainly several signature dishes. On the other hand, the best food quality and freshness are offered, because of learning curve effect. We do recommend Yuet Wah Club to all of you.
