Signature Roast Goose (Half) $128 is a delicious item with crispy skin and juicy goose meat. The goose is average-sized, there is no fat between meat and skin. Taste would be enhanced if the sweet and sour plum sauce is dipped. Its taste is different from that in Yue Kee in Sham Tseng http://isletforum.com/home.php?mod=space&uid=61&do=blog&id=1168, but the roast goose in New Star is also comparable to that in Yue Kee. If time is not enough, there is no need to take a long journey to Sham Tseng.
Braised Fresh Bean Curd Sheet with Vegetables $50 is a healthy item, with no meat and extra oil. It is also not salty. If the mushrooms are rinsed thoroughly with fresh water before cooking, the smell of canned mushroom soup would be eliminated. Overall quality would be improved.
Stir-fried Mushroom with Sea Cucumber $88 is very small in portion. We do not think that sea cucumber is an expensive food material. It is not suggested to order next time.
Double Eggs and Spinach in Soup $48 is of above average quality. We really cannot expect more from a vegetarian item.

We want to try Roast Goose again in New Star and reserve a table in advance. Tables are densely aligned, but the spacing is bearly acceptable. The restaurant is nicely decorated. Service is above average.
We order 4 dishes, including half bird of Roast Goose. The bill is $426 (average per head $107). There is no promotion discount for all kinds of credit card. We are quite satisfied with the food quality. We have no disappointment so far in New Star Restaurant in Whampoa and Causeway Bay.
