Freshly baked bread with cheese on top.

Garlic bread with onion on top is freshly baked.

Seafood soup is natural and tasty, all seafoods (clam, mussel, cuttlefish, fish) are very fresh. Herb and black pepper have been added.

Caesar Salad (romaine lettuce) is cold and fresh.

Foie Gras (goose liver) is tasty and slightly crispy on both surfaces. Its quality is good, the buyer is very important.

Lamb rack is juicy and tender, the special smell of lamb is slight. Vegetables are grilled to perfection.

Grilled Spring Chicken is brown on surface, the skin is very tasty if you do not mind cholesterol.

Grilled Cuttlefish is very fresh and good in quality. It is chewy but not tough. The size is quite large.

Baked Pork Knuckle should be one of the signature dishes. The surface is very crisp and there is no extra fat remaining. Sweet & sour veggie and potato mash are served on the bottom.

Seafood Risotto is al dente in texture. It can prepare the rice texture we expect. Seafoods are fresh as before.

Spaghetti Vangole is also al dente and clams are fresh enough. The chefs should have the trait to prepare high quality pasta.

Left: Cheesecake is average and not bad. Middle: Almond Cube is served in cold and is very rich in almond nut and flavor. It is highly suggested to reserve and order. Right: Chocolate cake is not in soft texture and of course is rich in chocolate flavor. It is in the high quality category.

Tiramisu is quite large in size, but the texture is too spongy and it is too wet to me. This cake is at most average.

We are introduced to try in Luca. Since it is not easily accessible, it takes a long time to finalize this meal. It is also not easy to gather all diners on time, in such a remote area (to us) in Taipo. Luca is a restaurant in the countryside, serving Italian and western food. Its style and cuisine should be quite different from those eateries nearby. Diners may select to dine indoors or outdoors. In winter, you may also select to dine outdoors as heaters are equipped.

We order many dishes this time, including goose liver, pork knuckle, grilled chicken, lamb rack, grilled cuttlefish, risotto and pasta. We also order breads, seafood soup, and desserts. We nearly order one dish from each category. Food material quality is surely high, this can be reflected by the freshness of seafood. Food taste has also attained high level, implying that the chefs have put effort and cooked food with heart. If we treat the meal as a western one, it should get high score. But if we treat the meal as an Italian one, it gives me an impression that the dishes are not cooked by native Italian chef. Sorry.
