'Baked Pork Chop w/ Rice in Portuguese Style' $88 is not in very large portion. It is very hot when served.
Pork chop is in cutlet style. Rice has been fried. It is a delicious item, but I do not know the difference between this Portuguese style and the one we usually have.
'Fried Vermicelli in Singaporean Style' is of high quality. Not to mention the chilled shrimps, vermicelli is of right softness, is spicy enough (but I prefer to be more spicy), not oily, and not too dry or too moist.

MGM Grand Macau always gives me a high-end feeling among the hotels / casinos in Macau. Maybe, it is mainly because of its image fostered in the media and its gold color. Inside MGM, we are impressed by the hospitality and courtesy of all servers we meet. It seems that their level of service is much higher than those among hotels in Macau, no matter whether you have spent money or how much you have spent.
We have not dined in those prestigious restaurants in MGM this time, we only select Square Eight (SE) on the first floor of MGM as we do not have much time in this section. SE is a high-end Cha Chaan Teng in my impression, as the menu gives me such impression. It is surely not a restaurant for you to spend the whole night, but for you to spend about an hour to fill up your stomach.
We order 3 dishes only, average spending is about $100. To our surprise, coffee is free to us and the waitress said it is included in the dish set. Before long, all dishes are served to us. We sense that the food presentation is very good though they are served to us in about 15 minutes. Food material quality is high and the taste is good. The chefs should have cooked / prepared them with heart. It is not a coincidence to have all dishes of high quality. But for other items, we cannot give a rating and do not want to make a pre-mature judgment at the moment. A spending of $100 on average in such high profile hotel is surely a value for money experience. You are therefore suggested to have a try in Square Eight.
